Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the UK premiere of her new movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon yesterday in London, England, wearing a custom Burberry gown. She looked absolutely gorgeous! The first high quality images from the premiere have been added in the gallery. More coming soon!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ‘One of the Boys’ for Transformers

You know Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as a gussied-up, scantily-clad Victoria’s Secret model. But she isn’t afraid to check her glam squad at the door. The Brit, who makes her movie debut in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, didn’t mind being “dirty and hot and sweaty for months on end. It’s not glamorous. You had to become one of the boys, for sure,” she tells USA TODAY.

So she was gladly just one of the guys for the lengthy and physically arduous shoot? Oh yeah, says Huntington-Whiteley.

“You had to leave all sense of girliness at the door. I’m a bit of a tomboy anyway. It’s an all-male cast apart from Frances McDormand, who worked on the movie for a few weeks. It was me and the lads,” she says. (The “lads” include a stable of hunks: Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey and Tyrese Gibson).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Thought She Bombed Transformers Audition

One of the many intriguing stories to emerge from the production and release of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” is the casting of new leading lady and first-time actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. In addition to making headlines for replacing Megan Fox as the new “Transformers” “It” girl, the fact that Whiteley comes to Hollywood from the equally glamorous world of modeling has only added to her appeal.

The Victoria’s Secret model’s acting abilities have already been touted and praised by her co-stars, Shia LaBeouf and Tyrese Gibson, but when MTV News caught up with the newbie, we asked her about the intensity of the audition process.

“I went to the audition and really I knew nothing about the role,” Whiteley said. “No one had said anything; it was just a role in ‘Transformers,’ so I kind of thought it would be an extra part or a cameo or something. I went in a bit blind and also, it was my first-ever audition. I went in completely not knowing what I was doing. I left feeling not confident.”

Transformers Stars Talk Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Vs. Megan Fox

Much ado has been made about the upcoming “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” From casting to the story line to the 3-D, it seems nothing about the filmmaking process on the third installment of the franchise has gone unnoticed. Thankfully, with the film’s June 29 release date quickly approaching, the castmembers have not only been out promoting the movie, but also dispelling some of the anxiety and nitpicking that has surfaced on the Interwebs.

Regarding the casting, specifically the addition of Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley after the departure of former “Transformers” “It” girl Megan Fox, the action flick’s male stars expressed nothing but love and admiration for the first-time actress.

“Rosie is going to surprise a lot of people,” Tyrese Gibson told MTV News recently. “I have to go on record and say that she did not replace Megan Fox. She’s a brand-new character; her name is Carly in the movie,” he explained. “Her name is not Mikaela, it’s Carly,” he reiterated, referring to Fox’s character in the previous installments. “She’s going to surprise a lot of people with her focus and energy that she’s bringing to the franchise.

“She was very focused, very classy, very easy to work with,” he continued. “I was really glad she came aboard.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Transformers Director Michael Bay Is ‘a Laugh’

Shia LaBeouf and “Transformers” director Michael Bay are “like brothers,” according to the actor himself. But what’s Bay’s relationship like with his newest leading lady, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley?

We put that very question not just to Rosie but also to her “Dark of the Moon” co-stars when we met up with them on the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. If you were expecting to hear some juicy gossip about friction between the two, however, prepare to be disappointed: Rosie says that Bay’s work ethic was very much in line with her own.

“I met Michael Bay back in 2009 on a Victoria’s Secret commercial, and we’ve always gotten along,” she said. “The guy has a great sense of humor, he has a really tough work ethic, which I do. He works really hard, and he expects his team and his cast to be professional and work hard. That’s been my work ethic all along, so we get along fine.”

Transformers Stars Survive ‘Jumping Through Fire’

It’s almost a given that stunt work on a flick like “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” would be intense. The cast of the Michael Bay-directed movie expected as much, and they were more than up for the challenge.

“I loved doing the stunts,” Rosie Huntington-Whiteley told MTV News, adding that she thought Bay “really respected a girl that could get her hands dirty.”

“Dark of the Moon,” which hits theaters on June 29, is Huntington-Whiteley’s first appearance in the franchise but she seemed to revel in all of the action. “Everything was a first for me, so it was super exhilarating and exciting. … And we had a lot of fun filming. Every day was a crazy day on set and I think maybe half the time, I was in a harness or jumping through fire or I was running through gunfire or, like, hiding underneath something that was about to explode.”
