In a recent interview, she confessed that her look hasn’t always been as strong as it is now, saying, “I was a bit of an Ugly Betty when I was 15”.

She also said that it was quiet difficult for her to get her first job. She was eventually hired as a lowly intern at a modeling agency, not as a wannabe supermodel. After a few months, however, she managed to book her first modeling job, supported by one of the agency’s agents.

She appeared in castings “in trainers, with braids, a ton of makeup, plucked eyebrows. I had braces.”

When Rosie was 18, she was offered a contract with Victoria’s Secret.
